On my Iriver H340, installed standard release 3.10 using Rockbox Utility.

If i go to set time and date, the calander has the wrong day displayed, so for instance, today is Friday, 6th of January, yet on the player, 6th of January is a Thursday

So the problem is actually visible in the calendar plugin? If so is this the same bug as  FS#11814 ?

Yes its system wide, i check the plug-in and yes, its still a Saturday but obviously its actually a sunday today. I will check out that bug number and apologize if it has been reported before.

OK i have read that bug, and it sounds the same, but in my original firmware, 1.29K, there is no option for changing to daylight saving time, so there is no way to use the fix mentioned in bug  FS#11814 ?

Again, its a small bug, its not like the player doesn't work, i just thought maybe nobody had noticed, but it seems they have, wish i knew how to change to daylight saving time in 1.29k, or am i using the wrong firmware?

Is day correctly displayed in "Time & Date" and off only in the calendar, is it wrong in "Time & Date" too even if you set it to the right?

Both, it is displayed incorrectly in the calander plugin, and in time & date.

Rockbox has this build in. Go to main menu->system->debug->enable screenshot. To make a screen shot insert the usb cable.

Thanks, i figured it out and got a few screenshots, as i say, firmware 1.29k does not have a option for daylight saving time, so i cannot try solutions offered for the previously mentioned bug.

its 2912 not 2011, let me check this as that would be really silly

I would like to close this bug.... its a stupid mistake on my part then, if i set it to 2012, all is fine, how dumb am i.

Can you close it for me or can i do it
