Hack to get rid of rapid clicking on the Clip+ radio. My radio is the RDA5802. Some also use the SI7400, so I put the change for this one too.

The radio screen will now always indicate stereo and max signal strength, but at least the unbearable ticking sound is gone.

Great! Thank you. I thought it is a hardware problem unfixable by software (the same happens in the original firmware). Could you please provide a compiled firmware for testing?

I put up a build (shoe build) in the Rockbox unsupported builds forum, but no one has accessed it for a while and it expired. I'll put it up again as soon as I have a chance (highest priority: get the taxes done).

I put up the shoe build for the clip+ in the unsupported builds forum again: http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php/topic,34131.0.html
