Details

A much needed improvement is to program the right
button (on recorders) to queue a file in the browser,
and leave the play button for playing. Currently both
buttons (play and right) are used for the same purpose.
Why not have one of these buttons do something
useful? The current method of queuing files (holding
two buttons, etc.) is needlessly complex.

Totally Agree !!

I see that this request has been entered atleast 5 times by
various members. So there is some pent-up demand :)

Also making the right-button queue work at either dir level or
file level would be a great bonus.

I support this, actualy made a request to it, but I guess this one is the same. I hope this will be implemented soon, I really need it.

agreed i have recently got a 5G ipod and think this would be a great feature, I used to have a H300 where the rec button had this functionallity through a third party patch

I think i will look into what is involved with coding in this functionallity but it might take a while as i have not done any work on rockbox before...
