FS#2235 - Automaticly load settings (config) when entering a directory
There was an idea behind this patch:
I’m using my Rockbox for listening to music but also for
listering to audio-books. When listening to music I do like
the shuffle-option, but on audio-books this is a pain as
often chapters are packed in separate audio-files and
things get pretty screwed up.
So I wanted an option to automaticly change settings
when entering a directory.
It’s now very simple….do all your changes in the
settings - this could also be audio settings or the ability
to speak numbers or to spell directory names.
Save these config-files. Create a handful with the
changes you want and like…now place a configfile in
an directory and name it “_dirconfig.cfg”. You should
also create a file in the root-directory with your global
settings. This way, they will always be restored back to
your default settings.
If you know enter a directory it will check for that files
and do change the settings if it exists….
Well…hope other find this usefull and maybe this feature
will find it’s way into the CVS-tree…
