The implementation for language items "Shuffle"
(german: "Zufallswiedergabe") and "Repeat"
(german: "Wiederholung") should be changed. Actually
these items are used for Menu->General Settings-
>Playback AND within Option-Menu (F2). This works fine
for English but not for German. The german translation is
to long for the Option-Menu and everything gets mixed
Unfortunatly there is no german word, short enough to
fit in 7 letters.
I think the items for "Shuffle" and "Repeat" should be
separated for Playback- and Option-Menu. The items im
Playback-Menu could stay how they are, but in Option-
Menu one could define some shorter ones. To have this
work, the Option-Menu-Item for "mode" should be
doubled. This way one could have in Option-Menu:

Zufalls- Wieder-
modus: holung:
Aus Aus

The next problem comes with the german items
of "Repeat". Thes are once again too long for then
Option-Menu, but they could by
shortened: "Alle", "Einer", "Aus"

I know about the problem, and it annoys me a bit too.
However, nothing was done about that because of 2 facts:

- The solution requires additional language string entries
- It is planned to completely remove the F2/F3 quick screens
and to replace them with context sensitive menus

Unfortunately this seems to take much longer than intended...
