Hi,
it would be perfect if RockBox had support for Digital
Room Correction.

DRC during playback will probably be very hard to
achieve, but if f.e. an iriver and a microphone could
automatically generate a calibration file this data
could be used for offline DRC on a PC.

DRC sounds like something only applicable to players used in a fixed location through speakers, as opposed to the more common usage as a portable device through headphones.
