FS#4815 - make car adapter mode work on iPod 5G
This patch makes the car adapter mode working conveniently on iPod 5g.
It solves two issues:
1.
At the moment the way to detect charing power is the usb driver.
After patching, the information is also used in other places than powermgmt (like backlight timeout, etc.).
2.
If usb power is detected, the device switches to harddisk mode.
Unfortunately, a 12V charger or a usb charger without usb logic will make the iPod go to hdd mode, as well.
Then nothing is detected, switching back to rockbox - hdd mode again - back - and so on.
The mechanism to avoid hdd mode by pressing the menu button doesn’t work at startup (at least not for me).
And its rather difficult to handle the iPod at the same time when starting the car engine…
So this patch just reverses the default for the hdd mode.
If you want hdd mode, the menu button must be pressed while plugging in usb.

I can confirm this also works for the 4G iPod Photo 60Gb - fantastic!
Ralf, why do you change the == USBPOWER_BUTTON to !=? That seems sure to break on other targets. Does car adapter mode still not work right with my commits lately?
Sorry, I just posted that patch for ipv users without taking care about other targets.
Anyhow with actual cvs the patch is no longer needed. So can you please close this task?
