FS#5290 - USB not working
When connecting the USB cable, Windows does not recognize the player at all. I’ve verified that the 2006.05.02 and 05.03 builds have this problem.

I cannot confirm this problem. (This is Llorean from the forums, Woodensoul, just to let you know.) I've just attempted and mine connects fine in Rockbox.
is this when plugging in while the player is on or off?
Both, for me. Tried Bootloader USB and Normal, both function fine. 'sides, a recent Rockbox build should only affect the non-bootloader mode anyway. :)
OK, either I was mistaken, or this has been fixed with the 2006.05.04 CVS build. The player is again recognized in Windows.
