This request, if fulfilled of course, would simultaniously improve both the pitch and repeat functions.

If the -2%/+2% could be replaced with Cue A / Cue B, then the repeat function would be incorporated in the pitch window. Assuming you set a region for looping beforehand, then while pitch bending, Cue A to instantly jump to the beginning of the loop (useful for beatmatching), and Cue B to jump to the end of the loop (useful for getting out of the loop)

Since the pitch can easily be adjusted to -/+2% anyway, why not replace those shortcuts with more useful options that would ultimatly improve the functionality of both the pitch and repeat/looping features.

I would be very very greatful.

The pitch screen currently works exactly how it's supposed to (and wanted to) work. If you feel it should work this way, feel free to create a patch and share it with the community, though.

Just sayin' is all. Suggestions are always welcome, but there's apparently a difference between the way the +/- 2% and the other +/- work (I'm personally not sure what it is) and so it's intentional that both are there.

As I understand it, the +/-2% is there to allow for fine tuning of track/beat alignment with another source (for example, by a dj).

I understand the utility of having the +/-2% integrated into the pitch window, but it would be very nice to also be able to integrate the A/B looping feature into a DJ mode. Is there any other discussion of how to add this in? Ideally, there could be a DJ mode, similar to the Party Mode, which allows the user to move the slider(for the H10, in my case) up and down in the Play window to adjust pitch/speed, while keeping the volume locked at a preset volume(since DJs tend to be using a mixer with it's own gain controls. The A/B loop could be handled using the single [o] button in a method similar to the way iRiver's recent F/W versions do. If/when I have time, I'll try to figure out how to do this, but if anyone else is already working on this or would feel like helping or walking me through some if this, that would be great. Just post in this thread or at least point me to another thread where this might be more appropriately discussed. Cheers.
