DetailsI was Recording today with the daily build from 8/17/06 and I noticed that when the hard-drive spun up the two volume meters were freezing. About five seconds after the hard-drive spun down, the meters started working again. The recording was fine through the whole time, (I played it back afterward with out any errors.) I was using the AGC set on voice, but afterword I tried it with the AGC off entirely, and it wasn't different.

This task depends upon
The freezing of the peakmeters is actually necessary during the spinup. I don't really remember why at the moment, but it preserves the quality of your recording (as you've noted, the recording is fine) so it's not really a bug as something odd that happens that wasn't explained to you.
What really needs to be done is that a footnote about this be put in at least the H100 and H300 manuals (I'm not sure this behaviour is on other targets). We receive this bug report repeatedly.
