Rather than have tagcache search the entire drive for music files, specify somewhere in the .cfg the folder(s) Tagcache should only look through. Wouldn't this lessen the load on the player?

not quite what your after... but this patch will ignore any folder which has the file ROCKBOX_DATABASE_IGNORE_FOLDER in it (and all its subfolders also.

If someone can come up with a more user-friendly way to do this it would be commited.
