I'd like to display ReplayGain album and/or track values in a while playing screen. My guess is that this wouldn't be difficult to accomplish. One of these days I'll get my development environment set up and give it a go myself if some other helpful person doesn't get to it first.

Hi I added http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/2740 as a related task to this request as it contains a patch that does exactly what is requested (and has been reopened).

Does this really have a practical application? Remember that part of the goal of Rockbox is to keep the core binary's size down, so anything added to the core should be considered against whether it's worth taking up space with (independent of how little, as little things do add up.) I mean, replaygain information doesn't really offer you anything useful during playback, does it?
