FS#6768 - Resuming from bookmark on mp2 - counter goes to 00:00
Daily Build 2007-03-08 Rockbox for iPod 4th gen Grayscale
When resuming playback using a bookmark the player jumps to the correct location, briefly shows the correct time (as shown in the bookmark screen and then the display jumps to 00:00 whilst playback continues from the bookmarked location. Any attempt to move through the file causes playback to jump to the location shown in the displayed time.
The files affected are radio programmes recorded without re-encoding off broadcast radio as mp2 files and are around an hour long, and only once the bookmark is a minute or so in.
The problem does not seem to occur with mp3 files of a similar length. It is noticeable that in this case the display briefly shows 00:00 before jumping to the bookmark time.
The release “rockbox-ipod4gray-20060830” does not exhibit this problem.

This bug isn’t specific to bookmarks - I’ve experienced it when doing a normal resume with a long (68 minute) MP2 file.
However, it’s useful to know that it was working at one point in time.
Sorry, yes I had found that as well, but forgot to add it.
Also I’ve just put Rockbox on my Nano, as the G4 is playing up.
The bug happens on that as well.
