FS#6780 - Better volume conditional for WPSes.
It would be very nice if there were some way to have a volume indicator that could show Line Level (0dB) and above line level volumes.
The current conditional goes from 0 to N, which makes it impossible to clearly visually represent when line level, or above, has been reached.
I’m not sure how this could be improved upon. My mind says that the final two entries in the conditional could represent 0dB, and “above 0dB” (users could simply use a red volume indicator to indicate proper clipping, for example). Although this doesn’t allow showing how far above 0dB you are, since graphical volum indicators don’t often have that level of precision anyway, it might not be so bad.

But you *can’t* go above 0dB !?!
I can see the use for this in a peakmeter, but the volume, by definition, stops at the maximum (0dB, 100%)
bascule,
several of the Rockbox targets can go beyond 0dB.
