Details

Currently the volume button when not in the WPS doesn't seem to do anything on the gigabeat.

Ideally i'd like the volume button to be used for page scrolling as paged scrolling is quite difficult atm in gigabeat. Failing that just changing the volume will do.

Agreed!

This patch should make the volume buttons scroll by page. I can't test it at the moment, but it should work fine.

yes this sounds like a great idea, better then having the button un used. i hope this patch gets implemented

agreed here as well.

page scrolling with Vol buttons or, the idea that has been in the air for a long time now, swap POWER and A buttons for good (so the page scrolling could become usable at least)

the patch doesn't work by the way.
