Detailshello,
well i have a h10[20GB], i noticed, there are times when there are some noises occuring something like an alien, digital noise(hehe),well the only way out of this is to restart the player, ofcourse everything else works perfect but the playback, which refuses to become fine even on changing the track, well this has been around for a while, i just wanted to be sure how to reproduce it. To start off this doesn't occur always, well i noted when the CPU is being used i guess to it max this occurs, there are two instances which could reproduce this: 1.The most obvious one, Crossfade: when having these settings crossfade: always crossfade fade in delay: 0 crossfade fade out delay: 0 crossfade fade in duration: 0 crossfade fade out duration: 12 crossfade fade out mode: mix Bass:18 Treble:14 basically loading the CPU with these settings after these settings try changing tracks like 2 or 3 of them after a gap of 5 seconds or so into the track, also try this after one track is ending, this should cause those strange noises to occur, hence a restart is needed. 2.The other is when the player just starts its updating the DB,loading DB to ram, plus Dircache is on, so the player is being used fully , then try pressing pause , causing a track to start & then repeat the step 1. this should trigger the noises again. Well for a better understanding im attaching my settings file alongwith here below. For now my understanding is this is only on the H10[20GB] if other players experience this i would request the admins, please update information on this main details page. |
