A nice feature is a sleep mode which shuts off the
player after playing a configurable number of tracks

and also, if reading a long book while in bed - you could shut
off player after it gets to X:XX in a track. This could be
configured with the current sl;eep timer, but when u are in the
middle of a book already, and nly want to read so far, it could
be useful.
We already have “sleep after X minutes”. Why would “sleep after X track”
be an improvement?
Sleep after “x” tracks is useful if listening to an audiobook.
