Detailsi discovered sevral bugs at STARTUP (when hd is still busy).
rockbox-version: 16105-080118 1. with 2 different mp3s i hear a short high noise, a glitch before music starts when i resume playback directly after starting up. this happens as long as the disk is busy. 2. ogg cant resume at specific song position, only at beginning of song. this also happens as long as the disk is busy. 3. ogg cant seek at startup - always returns to start point. guess it could make sense to do an overall check for the startup/disk spinning/cashing thing.... |
This task depends upon
FS#8511?Also what you say about the disk sounds like
FS#8397.I'm pretty sure this didn't happen with any rockbox versions from 2007 I tried.
At first I thought it had something to do with the new (great :) theme, which has cover art displayed, and maybe because all my covers are 100x100 bmp's (thus not displayed entirely, it's 75x75 in the wps I think), but I just tried to switch back to the rockbox_default theme, without cover art, to no avail.
My player is an iAudio X5 60GB.
My mp3s are VBR (220kpbs avg), encoded with Lame 3.97, mp3gain'ed. I just played another mp3 coming from a podcast, encoded in 128kbps, and it doesn't seem to have the problem. Weird...
Another difference is this podcast has id3v2.3 tags, and my mp3s have id3v2.4 (utf-8).
Thanks :D !
What was the problem related to? Resume code, disk code, or something with the wps?
