FS#8772 - Option to not shuffle for albums
It would be nice if there was an option to choose not to shuffle albums when shuffle is on so that selecting an album will play it in the order of that album (provided the correct tags are on the files, of course)

If I understand what you’re saying, which I’m not super-confident about, you want to randomize the album that you listen to but not the song order of those albums? If so, set Auto-Change Directory to Random and then initialize the Random Folder Advance plugin. Although I just tested it and it seems a little buggy at the moment, this would do what I described (this works from the file browser only).
no, an option in the playback settings would turn this feature on/off.
Then upon selecting an album in the database, it will play it’s tracks in order, but selecting any other song (not under the album catagory) would follow what has already been set by the user via the quick menu or otherwise
The current apple firmware works in this way, i belive
