This patch fixes  bug 8689 .
Problem is that peak meter is disabled when recording screen is left and wps never enables the peak meter.

The patch enables/disables the peak meter in wps.

Markus, thanks for the patch. I think next time you can just submit the patch to the original bug report (there's no need to open a new entry).
