If you tap fast enough to reach 400 bpm and leave the player alone, now and then the tapping will be irregular. If it's left for long enough the player will eventually freeze (possibly division by 0?)

Reason for closing:  Fixed
Additional comments about closing:  I'm pretty sure r19991 fixes the problem. Lockup only took a minute or less for me and now I haven't been able to reproduce it.

"long enough" can mean more than 20 minutes

I do not confirm this bug for iPod and Simulator.

Does this bug happen even if the Rockbox of the current version is used?

I haven't tested recently, but at the time I could *only* reproduce this on coldfire-based players. The fact that you don't see it on ipod therefore doesn't surprise me.

It is mysterious though thought that any player is happened if this problem occurs from the source.

Though it was thought that any player happens if this problem occurs, it is mysterious thar this problem happened only Coldfire.
The source will confirm more carefully.

Coldfire is always a PITA when handling the PCM at the low level (pcm-coldfire.c) and has many quirks to deal with. It could either mean the interrupt is allowed to fire at the wrong time or something in the hardware doesn't like the way things are restarted.

Think I got this one. My H120 ran for an hour at 400bpm but locked promply before making changes. I think I'll just give coldfire pcm a good going over and simplify what I can as well.
