PictureFlow Plugin
Description
PictureFlow is a plugin that provides a nice visualization of the albums with their associated cover art.
It is based on code from http://code.google.com/p/pictureflow/, and uses the DataBase and AlbumArt features of Rockbox.
Requirements
- The maximum size for the bitmaps is the size of the screen (the same limit applies in the WPS).
- Images of size 100x100 are preferred. i.e. cover.100x100.bmp will be picked over cover.bmp
- The main buffer is used, which means unless the size of the playing tracks is small, you'll have to stop playback.
- The DataBase needs to be initialised in order to find the albums.
Known issues
- Display bug where some images have a reflection above.
- Smaller images break the illusion of sliding on a black reflective surface, as they are placed higher than the rest.
- The tracks aren't displayed in the correct order in the list.
- Quickly moving towards the opposite while the animation is running causes Pictureflow to jump back two covers instead of one (FS#8306)
- It is not yet possible to start playback from within PictureFlow.
Patches
- FS#8335: Album title config & small improvements
