SanDisk Sansa C200 v2

Current Status

Rockbox does NOT run on the v2 players.

The SanDisk Sansa C200 v2 players have different hardware than the original ones, and Rockbox has NOT been adapted to run on this new hardware. It will take a considerable effort to make it do so.

They are equipped with AMS 3525 SoCs.

USB Mode

Currently, the c200v2's are stuck in MTP mode. However, there is a way to change into MSC mode:

1. Turn on your c200v2 Player

2. Switch ON the hold button

3. Press the |<< button and plug in your USB cable

4. Keep it pressed until the Sansa is completely recognized by your OS

This has been tested on Windows XP and should work with Windows Vista.
