Sansa c200 WPS Gallery

Please do not upload themes to these pages. Use the Rockbox Theme site instead

This Wiki page contains permissively licensed WPS files for the Sansa c200 series of DAPs. For other models and instructions on how to upload a WPS, see WpsGallery.

Broken Themes

You may run into themes that do not work, this means 1 of 2 things:
1. The theme is broken, or
2. The theme uses patches or features not currently part of SVN.

If after checking to make sure you have the correct build, the theme still does not work you can:

1.request the author fix the theme via email, a forum post or PM etc.

2.fix the theme yourself, you can use a simulator to help you (use the --debugwps switch) : http://rasher.dk/rockbox/simulator

If you have fixed a theme, the updated version should be uploaded here (only, if the license is compatible, i.e.: CC-by-SA, GPL, etc.). Please honour the original author's intent and don't upload a "fix" which changes features or behavior. If you wish to modify a theme in this manner rerelease it under a new name.

In case the theme you choose does not include the required font you should install the Rockbox font pack (install it the same way as a rockbox build).

my_simple

A simple, text only WPS that can be used on many platforms and with various fonts. Since the c200's display is rather small, I use nimbus-12 on it. Only the song name and artist are shown (no album name). The numbers above the progress bar are: elapsed time, track number in the playlist/total number of songs in the playlist, remaining time. The next song info doesn't fit on c200 but does on other platforms. I use the WPS unchanged. -- by SamuelKatz

Nature

I built this off of the cabbiev2 theme, so there are still a few icons/settings that are left over from that but not much. All of the icons I added are icons from the KDE Oxygen set which are covered by the Creative Common Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License. All the working GIMP files are included in the respective directories. This theme uses the Sazanami-Mincho-Regular-12.fnt font (included in download).

Plain and Simple

This is my first shot at a theme port. I started with Marc Guay's "Plain and Simple" theme for the iPod Nano and made quite a few changes. My aim was to balance the amount of information and the cleanliness of the display.

This theme supports album art up to 50x50 (my screenshots and tests used 40x40 bitmaps, however).

History:

* July 22, 2008: First Post

* July 23, 2008: Messed with it a little. Realized I forgot to show the volume, etc.

Current Status: I have verified that the theme works with r18147 (the revision I last updated to). I will update the revision number so long as the theme continues to work. (August 4, 2008; current revision at edit time was r18196)

Plain and Simple 2

This is a simplified version of the Plain and Simple theme (above). The font size is larger, less information is shown on the WPS screen, and the album art size is increased to a maximum of 132 x 70. For traditional square album art, this means 70 x 70, but if you want to use band name logos, then a rectangular image can be used. The bottom line of the WPS shows time remaining on the current track, volume level, and playback status ( - means no shuffle, ~ means shuffle, and >, >>, <<, || are used to represent Play, Fast Forwared, Rewinf and Pause respectively). Simple Catcher

This is based of the iCatcher WPS but I blacked out the back so that you could see the song information.

CabbieGreen

I used Yap's idea of changing the color of cabbie 2.0 and made a neon greenish sort of WPS.(Note that this is a WPS only and not a theme.)
