We are not opposed to a scandisk _plugin_, but will not accept scandisk functionality in the core.
---++ Configurable menus and keymaps

Obviously, the implementation needs to be elegant and clean. And for support reasons there must an easy way to reset menus to default.
---++ Bootloader menu

We already have boot menus for some targets, so it makes no sense to stubbornly refuse it for others.

 However it must be implemented so that it doesn't have any impact on users who don't use it. Also the config file must be on disk, to avoid people having to reflash the bootloader for each menu change.
