---+  Gain settings

For both Mic and Line-in there is an analog and digital gain setting. Because the steps of the decimator are much smaller, they are used to add additional gain values between the (big) analog steps. So the gain will always change in 0.5dB steps, and be the optimal combination of analog and digital gain.

Line-in and internal mic gain are saved separately.

In the recording screen, with *volume* selected, pressing _down_ first selects *both left and right gain* for stereo change. Pressing down again will then first select *left gain*, then *right gain*.

---+ Bugs

Writing a recording to disk when disk is full results in a corrupt file being written which not readable (without repairing the file using third party software) in Rockbox or otherwise.
This is more of a filesystem bug but occurs during recording and not playback. It is the last known critical recording bug for the iriver h100 series and possibly all of the coldfire targets.
