iAudio X5 & iRiver H10 (20GB) WPS config file gallery

This Wiki page contains permissively licensed WPS files for the iAudio X5 series of DAP's and WPS files for the iRiver H10 (20GB). For other models and instructions on how to upload WPS's see WpsGallery.

Broken Themes

If after checking to make sure you have the correct build, the theme still does not work you can:

1.request the author fix the theme via email, a forum post or PM etc.

2.fix the theme yourself, you can use a simulator to help you (use the --debugwps switch) : http://rasher.dk/rockbox/simulator

If you have fixed a theme, the updated version should be uploaded here (only, if the license is compatible, i.e.: CC-by-SA, GPL, etc.). Please honour the original author's intent and do upload a "fix" which changes features or behavior. If you wish to modify a theme in this manner rerelease it under a new name.

ROCKboxed

This theme is inspired by the Rockbox logo. Originally created and tested on an iPod nano. I've modified it and tested for the iAudio X5 & iRiver H10 (20gb) using the uisimulator software.

Old Skool LCD




I wanted to have a little fun with viewports, and I wanted to make a theme that somewhat resembled an old LCD screen. This is the result. It's relatively simple, displays what I believe to be the most important information, and even displays 60x60 pixel album art if it's present. It uses the rockfont-8 font, which I included to make sure it's available.

Bordered




Some more fun with viewports, though I used a lot less this time than in the Old Skool LCD theme. The hard disk activity, hold, and battery level indicators are the three rather little looking spots on the top right of the track information section. The hard disk and hold indicators "light up" when there's disk activity or hold is on, and the battery level indicator starts "lit up" and green then slowly changes color to red and "fades out" as the level decreases. It includes and uses a custom font, samson-10, and displays 60x60 pixel album art images, if present.

Another, and probably the last, bordered theme, the style's a little different than the previous versions and the layout is similar to the rest of my newer themes. Includes and uses the samson-10 font, and displays 60x60 pixel album art images, if present.

Text-Only




A theme that is written completely in text. Uses the 5x8 font (included); It does not display properly with any other font. This theme can be changed to whatever foreground and background colours you like, though in order for the colours to be changed properly in the WPS, the theme will need to be reloaded.

Feathers




A theme with a feathered background, layout is similar to Sidebar themes but album info text centers when no album art is present. Includes and uses a custom font, SF_intermosaic-9, and displays 50x50 pixel album art images, if present.

Moribund

This theme was inspired by the ultima theme, features animated batterylife while charging, hold switch will reveal codec info, the alternate backdrop with a skulls included as well, edit the wps and cfg file to use it instead. Uses 64x64 album art.

DigiCurve for X5

This is the DigiCurve WPS ported to the X5 that I made several changes to. Credit to drippydonut for the original, and thanks to ThomasViguier for starting the initial conversion once the album art patch made its way to the X5 way back when!

Here's a theme which was derived after tinkering around a bit with the progress meter. Hope you guys like it. There are two versions, one that supports 50x50 cover art (as shown on the bottom two screenshots) and the other supporting 75x75 (see the top two screens). This theme also features the centered alternate display if there's no album art.

UPDATE!: I have uploaded a new version of HiPodNextV5 to this site to replace the old one. The only difference is the hold icon which is adapted from the open-source Tango set. Credit is given in the wps files.


HiPodNextV5 has a few changes:
Changelog from HiPodNextV4:
-Added star rating (each half-star denotes one point out of 10)
-Some updates to recent WPS changes (tokenizer and RTC date/time display)
-"Now info" displays for 7 seconds while "next" info displays for 5 seconds.
-"Plays" displays for 4 seconds while "sum" displays for 4 seconds. Sum is the autoscore of the song.
-Info within the "blue box" and above the word "now" or "next" is for the current song only. Everything else alternates.

HiPodNextNightV5

HiPodNextNightV5 lets you see what's coming up next in the dark. Its .wps file is exactly the same as HiPodNextV5's .wps file except for the commented credits.

Changelog from HipodNextV5:
-Changed all but three graphics(using invert color filter)
-Changed text color to white
-Changed menu background to a dark color


Both use the atadore font whcih can be found in the Rockbox font builds. (License - "# Released to the Public Domain March 12th 2006") They're both included in the zip file here.
