---+!! Broken Themes
You may run into themes that do not work, this means 1 of 2 things:%BR%
1. The theme is broken, or %BR%
2. The theme uses [[http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/index.php?type=4][patches or features]] not currently part of SVN.


If after checking to make sure you have the correct build, the theme still does not work you can:

1.request the author fix the theme via email, a forum post or PM etc.

2.fix the theme yourself, you can use a simulator to help you (use the --debugwps switch) : http://rasher.dk/rockbox/simulator


If you have fixed a theme, the updated version should be uploaded here (only, if the license is compatible, i.e.: CC-by-SA, GPL, etc.). 
Please honour the original author's intent and don't upload a "fix" which changes features or behavior.  If you wish to modify a theme in this manner rerelease it under a new name.

<p>This theme is inspired by the Rockbox logo. Originally created and tested on an iPod nano. I've modified it and tested for the Sansa e200 using the uisimulator software.

A theme I made a couple of months ago and have been using since then.<br>
Battery meter in 8 steps, volume in 10, hold key icon, and alternating codec info (8 secs) and next song info (2 secs).<br>

Back by singular request, it's the original pretty-dull theme.  Album art size is 158x158.  Helvetica 15 is clean and very legible.  Progress bar is a lively grey.  Feel free to modify it to use conditional viewports so it doesn't look super-lame when there's no album cover.

Cabbie 2.0 updated with a larger font for us geezers who have trouble reading 12-Adobe-Helvetica.  It uses viewports now and the album art was shrunk by a few, hopefully unnoticable, pixels (116x116).

This theme is made for the standard build with album art (75x75), it has the icons you would expect and uses the nimbus-14 font (included).<br />

This is a port of the !KratoJet WPS to use viewports instead of customline.  It was a pretty quick port.  Just move some things around on the WPS file. The worst theme ever made!  Illustrates the beauty of pixel-point text placement by having the song title and artist streaming in and out of Oprah's mouth.  I took the photo myself, unsure of who's responsible for the paste-up.

When I first installed RockBox and started playing around with the themes, the biggest worry on my mind was breaking my Sansa. So, inspired by that fear, I bring you my first theme Rettum Broken Glass. This is based on the !RettumBox theme with my own custom background added. Enjoy!

This is just a copy of the good Cassette Theme by !GermanGatica which I got from rockbox-themes.org altered with additional Information on the Track and a really more realistic Battery-Display and also more suitable Volume-Bar.
The Font-Color is changeable to your needs. Only the background Color has to be some darkish one.

I made this theme with transparency in mind, it's purpose is to display album art while still conveying a good amount of info. This theme has four versions, One version has equal length Artist/Title bars, while the other is slightly more irregular, the remaining two are the same, but each has the codec and bitrate information removed.

This theme was ported from the iPod Video version. It was created with the goal of displaying as much control information as possible, also including some Rockbox powerful features, not so usually displayed in other themes, such as crossfade or replaygain modes. Each &#65533;widget&#65533; allows a quick visual setting&#65533;s control or information status check. Works on recent official builds. Better with 75x75 album art size. Enjoy!

this is a modification of simpleWPS.
albumart is 175x175 in size, so it is as huge as you can get it on the sansa.
the trackinfo is changing after 10 seconds from "now" to "next" track.

This is a simple theme based on the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey". The WPS features the lovable HAL 9000 computer, using its logo as a progress bar, and the "1 of 2" line alternates with some information about the file (eg, "128kbps MP3"). 2001 should work with any current official build.

This theme is licensed under the GNU GPL, version 2 or later.

This is a port of my H10 theme Parilis.  Includes 4 different themes: Skull, Lake, Blue, and Sunset.  Extra features include codec info on hold switch, clock in upper right will tell you playback mode, date in bottom right will change to playlist name if available.  Multifont edition uses a smaller version of nimbus instead of the system font for a cleaner look, and also takes advantage of user definable list positions.

This theme is originally made by Jiiprah. It's dark themed, but looks very classy due to the transparency. The main backdrop has some lovely details on the right side. I modified it to use conditional viewports, bitmap strips and a slightly bigger album art (and bug fixes). The WPS changes and shows a bit more info if there's no album art.

Update: 26th July 2008: Fixed an issue with the volume graphics (thanks to !BdN3504)

This theme is basically just a quick thing I put together to put the feel of Ubuntu in my sansa.  This theme does support album art; it replaces the Ubuntu symbol in the corner when it is present.  Feel free to do whatever you want with this theme, just be sure and give me credit if you upload any themes derived from it.

A mimic of KDE4.1 (www.kde.org) and amarok1.86 (amarok.kde.org). Pressing hold while Album Art is present shows the detailed information like when no AA is present. Album Art is 75x75, this theme works with the current ROCKbox build. There are 2 themes in the zip, amarok and amarok-lrg. Amarok version uses the 12x12 icons and 12-Lucidia-sans-Bold font, Amarok-lrg uses 16x16 icons and 14-Lucidia-sans Bold font.

This is a slightly modified version of my previous theme "Plain Text", but using view ports this time (yes, that's the VP in the name). The theme strives to be as simplistic as possible (at least concerning the number of images it uses - yes, it's 0), but on the other hand to display as much as possible in a readable way. The used color is yellow - it's easier to read than white; labels are displayed in darker color to make them less distractive. The display area is divided into sectors: status of the player is displayed in the corners, and the main part is divided by the progressbar and the peakmeter into three areas. The first area displays the most important information about the currently played song, the second area contains some additional information, and, finally, the last area displays information about the following song. I'd like to thank to advcomp2019 for his comments and that he reminded me that I should update the theme :-).

This is a mod of Cabbie 2.0 with a number of changes:
   * A far larger font - 19-Nimbus (remember to download the font pack!).
   * Orange colours for most text.
   * Uses 168x84 album art, which I create by merging album art with an artist picture from [[http://last.fm][last.fm]]. You could also use it to show front and back cover.
   * It looks fine with square album art as well (you'll still have to use cover.168x84.bmp or similar if you have multiple sizes).
   * Works great with GNU Unifont without any changes - many other fonts look fine as well.
   * Next song is shown in grey.

Version 1.1 (2008-12-10):
   * Only show next track info is any is available and adapt to the unused space in AA and non-AA mode.

Version 1.2 (2008-01-26):
   * Show a large volume meter when changing volume
   * The text in the WPS now uses the same colour as the menu (changeable by the user)

"Jack" is a flat black/white/red theme, named for the master of the b/w/r colour scheme. I have slowly started porting my old Ipod nano <a href="http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/WpsIpodNano#Jack">"Jack" theme</a> to the Sansa - the "info" version being the first in the row.

This collection of themes is based on the Widecabbie version 1.2 theme.  Refer to Widecabbie for other screen layouts. 
   * The Colors have been changed.
   * A variety of colors are available.
   * A clock display has been added where the Rockbox logo was.  
   * When sleep timer is set the clock display will alternate between the current time and the remaining time on the sleep timer.
   * Status Icons on the WPS were moved closer together to allow room for the Clock/Sleep timer display.
   * Themes use the same Icon set and font as Widecabbie (these are not included in the zip file).
   * License: GPLv2 as per Cabbie 2.0
