Difference: ICal2Memo (r3 vs. r2)
iCal2Memo is a Perl script that grabs all .ics files in a directory, parses the calendar information, finds the new and recurring entries, and saves them in the Rockbox Calendar format.
The data is placed in a text file, which can then be copied to your .memo file.
Since it's a Perl script, it should be cross-platform, however Windows users will need to download and install "ActivePerl"
Download this text file, and save it with the extension .pl. Set execute permissions (chmod 0755) and the call it from the command prompt.
I tried to rename the attachment without the .txt extension, but it seems that FOSWIKI automatically includes this. -- JustinHannigan - 25 May 2011
It is not working perfectly at the time of this writing-- recurring weekly appointments appear on the wrong day. I would appreciate hearing from someone who is more familiar with the format of .memo files.
