Broken Themes

You may run into themes that do not work, this means 1 of 2 things:
1. The theme is broken, or
2. The theme uses patches or features not currently part of SVN.

If after checking to make sure you have the correct build, the theme still does not work you can:

1.request the author fix the theme via email, a forum post or PM etc.

2.fix the theme yourself, you can use a simulator to help you (use the --debugwps switch) : http://rasher.dk/rockbox/simulator

If you have fixed a theme, the updated version should be uploaded here (only, if the license is compatible, i.e.: CC-by-SA, GPL, etc.). Please honour the original author's intent and don't upload a "fix" which changes features or behavior. If you wish to modify a theme in this manner rerelease it under a new name.

Knightbox

In D3, KITT "talks" during music playback, and stops talking on pause or FF & RW.
In D4, KITT's scanner scans from right to left during music playback, scans from both ends towards the center on pause and scans in the same direction as the progress bar on FF & RW. D4 also displays a maximum of 75X75 pixel album art inside a CD jewel case. If you're wondering who/what KITT is, you're most probably too young. iCatcher & UniCatcher

This is my contribution to the large rockbox wps collection for the iriver H3xx targets. The concept I had in mind when creating this wps, was to make simple and plain graphics with some eye-catchy animations and to end up to a fully functional and easy to use interface. I hope the result does not deviate from all this.

There are two versions of this wps. iCatcher uses the "nedore-9" font while Uni Catcher uses the "unifont" font.

Requires:

• Album Art patch v.3.3 or more
• Scrolling Margins Patch
• EQ WPS tags patch v.1.0 or more

Detailed Features:

• 1. Cover Art display up to 100x100 pixels (modify bg.bmp to place your own avatar)
• 2. Playback status icon
• 3. Volume icon (animates when paused or seeking)
• 4. Volume text indicator in � dB or �Paused�/�Seeking� text
• 5. Shuffle indicator
• 6. Repeat indicator
• 7. Hold indicator
• 8. Battery indicator (animates when charging)
• 9. Track timing (blinks when paused)
• 10. Playlist position
• 11. ID3 Tag info (Artist/Album/Year/Genre) with ID3 Guess (when no ID3 tag is present it displays other information like filename, directory name etc. � It works perfect if you organize your files like this: �Root/Artist/Album/Track.mp3�)
• 12. File information (Bitrate � Frequency)
• 13. File codec
• 14. Equalizer On/Off indicator
• 15. Next Track
• 16. Current Track (Track No. � Track Title, displays filename when no ID3 tag is found)
• 17. Progress bar

Clean

Stripped some beyond the patchset features out of this theme I found somewhere and now it works on the Ipod Color.

Check the .cfg and .wps for hidden "Cute Girl Mode" (which could probably use a touch up in the Gimp, but works for my philistine eyes.)

ROCKboxed

Version 1.0

This theme is inspired by the Rockbox logo. Originally created and tested on an iPod nano. I've modified it and tested for the iRiver H3x0 & iPod Color/Photo using the uisimulator software.

Cabbie 2 default

This is Cabbie 2.0 adapted for the default theme contest. This version sports a simplyfied version of the official logo. The alignment of the wps info is dependant on the use of album art (75x75). If no album art is found it aligns to the center. With album art the info text becomes left aligned. Rwps included.

arboxWidgets

This theme was ported from the iPod Video version. It was created with the goal of displaying as much control information as possible, also including some Rockbox powerful features, not so usually displayed in other themes, such as crossfade or replaygain modes. Each �widget� allows a quick visual setting�s control or information status check. Works on recent official builds. Better if using 75x75 Album Art bmp's. Enjoy!

AW140

This is a port of the AW200 theme for iPod video, and it is oriented to display album art BIG (up to 140x140); one good thing about it though is that other album art sizes look also very nice (3rd screenshot below is 75x75 AA) so you can use the album art size you want up to 140x140. Works under the official build. Uses 12-Adobe-Helvetica font included in the standard Rockbox font pack that you can download here
