02:11:01linuxstbOnce Rockbox starts, unplug the charger. Then hold MENU (with Rockbox running) and insert the charger again. That should charge without rebooting.

07:34:23midkaywehn_, fonts have been seperate for.. gah.. probably two months now. :)
07:34:43toxicfume*included
07:35:28toxicfumemidkay, then I reset the ipod, get back into rockbox, and then i start the .wps under general settings/ display/wps

07:36:09midkaybrowse fonts under display or LCD settings.. and in the package, it's MarsPolice-14.
07:36:40toxicfumei have load the font too? but that would mean the fonts of the entire rockbox UI will be MarsPolice-14 right? not just the WPS?

13:10:59fluxxare the default bass boost/discant boost-features provided by the iRiver iHP-120 hardware, or is the capability to diminish those just an oversight?
13:11:06fluxxobviously one can do those with the equalizer..
13:11:08Rob2222I just think if it is possible that the HD is damaged by the H340 ...
13:11:18amiconnRob2222: Maybe the disk isn't damaged, but rather the damaged unit doesn't manage to control the disk properly?
13:11:21fluxx(which I guess must be software?)

13:12:43Bg3rfluxx yep, it's an "audio codec" chip, uda1380
13:12:50fluxxI always wondered why the original firmware didn't support negative adjustments for those, but that does explain it..

13:13:59XavierGrRob: it still has the original disk right?
13:14:22Rob2222I just think if it can be, that the H340 damaged the 60GB. Cause after assemble it, i could copy some files (on the partition that was on the HD), and put the unit to charge. 1h later i only saw worse characters, got a blue screen and after that i never managed to partition it for myself. But that the 40GB works in fine would say angainst it ...

14:59:11Genre9mp3For example, in a Rock concert where the bass is very loud, it would be very handy if we could adjust the lower frequencies..

15:00:04Genre9mp3Sure, but I was just wondering, if this is possible..
15:00:20Genre9mp3I mean, if it requires some special hardware to be done
15:00:47linuxstbIn theory, yes - Rockbox could do anything to the audio before writing it to disk (subject to CPU power).
15:01:28Genre9mp3So, in theory, this would require as much as CPU the equalizer in playback, requires?
15:01:51peturthe problem is that bass mostly gives a hot signal, causing the rest to be recorded less because the bass limits the gain you can set on the line-in

I'd just like to get some respond over my hebrew translation update, wanting to know whether it is acceptable before v.3.0, because I really believe this is one of thous things that can't be left out, a language support that is. I'd be happy for some attention at http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/5587

23:57:01peturamiconn: regarding remote support: I see current code uses remote button defines, and Mmmm is submitting patches that add an additional define layer in settings.h for code that also uses button defines of settings. It's an easy solution but I feel the original code should not be using the settings defines - or am I wrong? Maybe we need more global defines for BUTTON_INC / BUTTON_DEC / ... ?
