14:38:59Domonoky_AVI is only a container, not a format.
14:40:30Domonoky_and you have to resize the video to your screensize ( not enough cpu power) so you can also change the format at the same time..

15:26:07LearYes, but this is a borderline case. If it is way too long it causes a clean exit early on (from libm4a). Here it is libfaad that can't handle a NULL return from malloc.

15:31:48Nico_PDomonoky_: I've managed to gt a hold of v2.8.1... I'll build a package with it
15:32:22LearThere might be. Depends on what the decoder actually needs in terms of frame sizes. I.e., do libfaad need to know the size of a single frame (sample in QT terminology).
15:33:18LearIf not, libm4a could be rewritten to not simply load a bunch of tables into ram, but rather recalculate them into something smaller.
15:33:51Nico_PLear: that sounds complex... is it ?

17:58:44LearWell, I did a major overhaul of it, though it was a while ago.
18:00:07Buschellear: i am not sure if the 16bit-output is done correct. it seems we have a dc-offset of about +0.5 of 32768
18:01:10LearOh? Doesn't sound much, but... :)
18:01:16Buschel* -0.5 of 32768 *
18:02:01Buschelyes, but it's a pain when trying to check accuracy of codec output vs. reference deocder
18:02:22LearAh. :) But this is on an arm target?
18:04:38LearSo clip_sample_16 that could introduce that offset, I guess.
18:05:43Buscheli guess sample_output_stereo should do (x + 1<<(scale−−1) )>>scale instead of x>>scale for each sample
18:06:20Buschelif I add this amount to the decoders output the dc-offset has gone

23:51:32andreasgn1s: The battery just went out so I'm good for now :)
23:51:48andreasgn1s: I did hold down MENU+SELECT and that didn't work
23:52:36n1sandreasg: it should, but I've heard of people having to hold those buttons down for as long as 30 sec to make it reset
23:52:54Robin0800andreasg, it will eventualy honest
23:53:07andreasgok, but does the threading system deadlock?
23:55:06n1sandreasg: that function is a hardware reset and should work regardless of what caused the crash
