00:46:55soaaHi everyone! Does anyone have a recent build of Rockbox for Android? I'd love to test it out.
00:48:44stripwaxsoaa - it should be possible to build it yourself
00:49:39stripwax(but if anyone has a prebuilt version and is hanging around on irc I wouldn't mind a link too :-)

10:39:43pixelmathe theme updater is doing a bad job with my monochrome viewported theme - it's adding an unclosed "%Vf(" after the first viewport declaration and treats all following tags as text, putting %%ia as if I wanted to display "%ia" literally

10:54:05S_a_i_n_tAh, I read 'editor' as opposed to 'updater' far, far too many times in a row just now.
10:54:26S_a_i_n_tmakes a lot more sense.
10:54:54JdGordonthe updater wasnt exactly supposed to be a work of art... it was supposed to be good enough
10:55:50pixelmaanyway... I think I can handle it. There are one or two more important things I wanted to tell JdGordon (the latter unconfirmed on target yet, just in the sim). Both have to do with lcd remotes somewhat. The first - %Vf/b breaks themes on the X5, neither the colour main screen take correctly written %Vb/f(xxxxxx) nor the greyscale remote - %Vb/f(x). The latter makes the cabbiev2.rwps break on the X5 (works on the M3 anbd M5 though)
10:56:45pixelmathe other thing is that some info doesn't seem to update in the RWPS, e.g. artist and title stay at the one that is displayed right on entering the WPS
10:57:04pixelmaplaylist position or playing time get updated though
10:57:57pixelmaan addition: "break the themes" means that they are rejected
10:59:38pixelmaand going back to the revision before the "make greyscale targets reject RGB values in %Vb/f" did not help
10:59:42JdGordonput it into a FS task or email me... I wont be around much tonight
11:00
11:01:01pixelmayeah, will do. I wanted to put it on FS but wanted to wait for confirmation on the update problem of someone with a real target. The X5 thing is confirmed already though

19:41:42tmztin the wolfson chip? which generations have that?

19:43:35deltbut i'd figure the bass/treble settings, if lowpass/highpass filters, wouldn't have anything to do with the coded chip?
19:44:23deltcodec**
19:45:09tmztit's a pcm codec, also used for audio frequency functions
19:45:20tmztthey are very configurable
19:45:34deltso the wolfson is a pretty versatile DSP...?
19:45:51tmztnot dsp, it's mostly analog and DAC/ADC
19:46:11tmztopensource.wolfsonmicro.com should have more details, including function diagrams
19:46:30deltah got it.. but it does have low/high pass functionality right?
19:46:53tmztI don't know about that chip in particular, I've only read about the one used in the openmoko
19:47:17deltwhich wouldn't take much battery power, according to the benchmarks i've done about 2 years ago
19:47:35tmztI would assume you just have to program the registers
19:47:55deltmakes sense... so no diff if they're set to zero or anything else
19:47:56tmztshouldn't require any more power or a negligible amount
19:48:27tmztthey might have enable bits
