08:53:08amiconnwodz: There's a technical reason
08:53:44amiconnWe cannot re-use the hardware combo (long Stop), because it triggers too fast to intercept in software (~1 second)
08:54:02wodzwhat about long on?
08:54:09amiconnWe also cannot use the (neat) double-Off alternative like on recorder
08:55:19wodzI'll look at keymap
08:55:40amiconnON is used for combos, so triggering on long ON is tricky
08:55:57amiconnAlso, powering off with the ON button is sorta illogical.
08:56:24amiconnAnother reason is probably that the hardware cannot be powered off as long as someone holds the ON button
08:56:55wodzok I am conviced now
08:56:55*amiconn didn't verify this, but then there are a few hardware revisions which might even behave slightly different

11:44:59Torneseveral people have been looking for it recently
11:45:17Torne"people who want to look at the revision history for some thing", i guess
11:45:33wodzfor me personaly? From time to time I have to look at svn history while I am not in front of my workstation where I have everything setup
11:45:44Zagorseriously? we have at least a dozen links to the svn browser on the front page, yet people refuse them and want one that goes to the root?
11:46:21Tornethe recent changes all link directly to changelists
11:47:32Zagorok, fine. I guess we can expand the "tracker" menu section to a more generic "development" with links to svn and perhaps howtocompile or some such

11:48:01wodzok for me
11:52:04pixelmais reporting bugs considered development? I'm a bit afraid people will find the links to the tracker even less, not sure how many it would confuse though just something to consider I think
11:52:29Zagorpixelma: I'd say it is at least helping development

11:53:35wodzwe can put link to SVN in download section as well
11:53:39teruwodz: yes, it worked. but i realized it is needed to align disp_buf = p_decoder->buf + p_decoder->native_img_size because decoder->infoPng.width * sizeof(struct uint8_rgb) might not be multiple of FB_DATA_SZ.
11:53:55teruI'd suggest to not inlclude the temporal buffer size to the p_decoder->native_img_size.
11:54:46wodzyes I was thinking about this
11:54:57 Join dfkt [0] (dfkt@unaffiliated/dfkt)
11:56:22teruapart from that, multiplying by FB_DATA_SZ is not needed for mono/greyscale targets becase greylib is used, thus type of output is unsigned char which size is 1, not fb_data.
11:57:30wodzthere is also possiblilty to reduce buffer required a bit. Currently 1) file is loaded at the end of buffer 2) IDAT compressed sections are copied and concatenated at the very begining of the buffer 3) zlib decompressor decompress raw image to the end of buffer trashing file 4) raw image is filtered and pixels are converted to native form puting 'ready' image at the begining of the buffer
11:58:07wodzwe can in theory not produce copy of compressed data sections
11:58:08preglowwodz: proper gamma support hardly involves bloat, it's a very important feature, which makes it so annoying when _no one_, even pro apps, don't care about it
11:58:26preglows/important/simple
11:58:52wodzNo problem - I can add gamma support to decoder.
