11:28:51pixelma[Saint]: IIRC the %bu tag was even introduced when making the classical_statusbar. sbs to make every info available that's currently in the built-in statusbar. This tag is important on targets that can run off USB power but don't charge (Ondio, maybe Player and m200), for most others the charging check would be triggered

13:04:59Torneright, so if it's crashed with the screen off then you need to turn it off before it'll do anything: try holding the power button down for some time to try and force it to power off, maybe 20-30 seconds, i forget

22:18:33pixelmakugel: does buffering on RaaAa work differently to other swcodec buffering? I'm asking because I try to find out more about a bug with the playlist viewport in the WPS which I thought I saw on my phone and in a sim but now it looks like it is a bit different in the sim
22:19:14kugelpixelma: codecs aren't prebuffered, that's the only difference
22:20:04pixelmaso it still tries to buffer as many tracks as possible and get their metadata
22:20:06pixelma?
22:20:55kugelyes
22:21:18kugelyou can see that in the debug buffering screen

22:36:06kugelpixelma: the ram size is different, though. 8MB on RaaA, whatever the target in real has in the sim
22:38:16kugeland I think the number of tracks the playlist viewer tag can show depends on how many tracks fit into the buffer

23:50:28fogusI have a sansa clip+. I installed rockbox. it works great! I plugged it into my PC to put more media on it. I safely disconnected it. it asked me what language I wanted. I put english. it asked me my region. I put north america. then I was looking at the default clip+ interface again... why? how do I make the rockbox install perminant?
23:51:47TorneWuffWe use the original firmware for USB for now on the clip

23:53:23Torneit shouldn't prompt you for the settings, maybe you deleted the file with the settings for the original firmware in it

23:54:50Torneyes.
23:55:28fogusoh, and I have to turn it off to get USB support?
23:56:18Torneyes, you have to use Sansa's original firmware for USB for now
23:56:40fogusand do you know how to lock (put on hold) the clip+? I've been searching for a way. the manual.pdf way doesn't seem to work (holding "home")
