10:47:25amiconnbluebrother^: We could change CREDITS to native spelling, but there are several problems, among which are: 1) How to do this for existing contributors which are no longer around now? I wouldn't want to end up with a mix. 2) Very few fonts can display all scripts, so it's a question how far we take this. (This also applies to the Player, which *can* display latin (including most latin-extended stuff), cyrillic and greek)
10:48:15amiconnDo we only accept latin-extended? Also cyrillic and greek? Or do we want to go all the way, including chinese, japanese, korean, thai...

11:23:55kugelamiconn: I changed swcodec to be like hwcodec w.r.t to .talk a while ago (i.e. use the same buffer, a portion at the end for .talk)
11:24:00kugelseems it's broken
11:24:16kugelpreviously .talk used a separate buffer on swcodec
11:25:30*kugel needs .talk files for the sim
11:27:51kugelhow do you generate talk files anyway?
11:28:26amiconnI still use good old voicebox, but afaik rbutil should be able to do that too
11:30:17amiconnI know that you changed the buffer stuff. I don't think this is the culprit; somehow playing a single .talk clip overwrites innocent memory
11:30:25kugelvoicebox is for windows?
11:30:45amiconnYes, it's a .hta, using sapi
11:30:50kugel:(

11:31:44kugelperhaps you can send me one or two, just so that I can repro? I can adapt the dir layout accordingly

21:39:04bertrikfunman, that's basically adding the yuv blit function, right?
21:39:07funmani could have a look, although i guess final bugfixing would be your job since you can test :)
21:39:10funmanyes
21:40:14bertrikI saw for a few other targets that it's implemented as a C function to iterate over the rows, then let an asm function draw the row, right?
21:41:02bertrikAnyway, it looked like a lot of asm and was intimidated enough to look for something else to implement first :)
21:41:55funmanbertrik: the clipzip might be powerful enough to do it in C
21:42:37funmanwhere enough = 10 times enough or something :)
21:44:00bertrikBTW, the display update rate itself is really slow now, at 20 fps. I tried doubling the SSP speed (from 3 to 6 Mbit) and saw no errors. I'm using the same divider as the OF (from PCLK to SSP clock), but I don't know what PCLK the OF uses.
21:45:47funmandid you try OF video feature or test mode ? is fps better in OF?
21:46:08bertrikfunman, do we have a C implementation already?
