10:44:50*[Saint] wonders how kugel seems to keep finding touchscreen bugs that he can never reproduce.
10:46:11[Saint]there's two in particular, the apparent "issue with scroll bar on the left" (I've actually seen at least one other person report this, but I can't reproduce on any of my devices), and the one you just fixed (you mentioned it a while ago and I couldn't reproduce that either).

10:49:32kugel[Saint]: the first one required the scrollbar to be on the left and top (thus, statusbar off or at the bottom). the kinetic scrolling code inserted a "virtual touch" at 0,0. if the scrollbar was at this position it would scroll up
10:49:49kugelthe second one was a regression introduced with my latest rewrite
10:50:32[Saint]Yeah, you've explained the scrollbar thing to me, I could still never reproduce it though.

Now we can use 16bit format and transform doesn't need at all. lcdif doesn't know what kind of data we send (some kind of parameters or pixels), so ALL commands and ALL data must be in 24bit form or 16bit form (not only pixels).

22:10:56kugelI'd say integrate it into the patch-firmware.she script in utils/ypr0

22:14:32kugelgevaerts: I think http://git.rockbox.org/?p=rockbox.git;a=blobdiff;f=firmware/target/arm/olympus/mrobe-100/lcd-remote-mr100.c;h=edcdde72535e1d08adf6a71382d2bc3ac12f0c80;hp=aa3d228952f6b9fc30c8033c01c88bba8a708c64;hb=b37e6bc8c119289aca8740dd5e3b60d72f9d6b40;hpb=15c69b8bafc3e89e1a825b5bbefef4a97f0001b1 lacks a * for dereference
22:15:31gevaertskugel: that URL didn't survive for me. Do you have a line number?
22:16:26*gevaerts looks at the diff
22:16:27gevaertshm
22:16:30gevaertsYes
22:17:46gevaertsor no, not sure
22:17:58kugeloh that's already fixed in master
22:19:50gevaertsIt almost has to be something like that though
22:24:09gevaertsHmm
22:24:24gevaertsEither that or it broke again later and my bisect is wrong
22:25:10*gevaerts investigates that possibility
22:27:30gevaertsSeems not. c0a2c3fe is still broken
22:27:58gevaertsHm, it *does* sometimes get to the menu, and it definitely gets to the splash screen
