19:20:49bluebrotherGodEater: I was wondering some time ago if some tool like would be more useful than forums for support questions
19:21:49bluebrotherI really like it kinda "drowning" useless posts
19:22:04bluebrotherplus, it requires users to use the search function a lot more :)

19:49:18amayer_such is life
19:49:22AlexPbut please do feel free to present some mockups
19:49:28AlexPthe status quo is strong
19:50:06amayer_i dont do design. i mostly work with php and backends(admins and content management) but i talked to a couple of my buddys to see what they come up with
19:50:31amayer_the one that would normally do it just got married tho... so im not expecting much
19:50:41AlexPPersonally I would favour a refresh
19:50:47AlexPI'm just warning you
19:51:22AlexPUltimately it is down to Zagor, so you could try coming up with a design then convincing him :)
19:51:48amayer_the only thing i dont like about the site is the smarty engine. its too hard to debug problems
19:52:13AlexPThat is just the theme site, no?
19:52:13amayer_ive been trying to update the functionality of the theme site but i cant get a local version running yet
19:52:30Zagoramayer_: we have a new design (at least it was new a few years ago...):
19:52:53Zagorunfortunately it doesn't fit all content very well so was mothballed
19:53:04AlexPI always liked that
19:54:55amayer_its pretty decent
19:58:12amayer_did anyone look at the repeat selector menu on the ipod classic?
19:58:15amayer_i talked about it before but never did a bug report
20:01:14AlexPI doubt it
20:01:29AlexPIt is perhaps unlikely with a bug report, doubly so without :)
20:02:41amayer_im not sure if its device specific or not
20:03:17amayer_so i should file a bug then?
20:05:40AlexPI don't know what you are referring to in particular, but it sounds like it

20:10:09amayer_im no an ipod classic. the other day i mentioned that when i go to the repeat/shuffle settings menu(by holding menu button on wps) and press right to change the repeat setting it gets stuck saying "shuffle" and you cant change it unless you go the the main menu and go through the settings tree
20:12:52bluebrotherI really liked the column thing I made a mockup years ago: :)
20:13:50bluebrotherbut enough people didn't like that so I stopped looking into it. And assume that the current one will stick for another couple of years :)

21:36:47amayer_does UBS effect ipod classic?
21:36:47AlexPno worries
21:37:00amayer_the bug i mean
21:37:00AlexPI don't know anything about the classic
21:37:45AlexPI don't know if it has USB, but if so I think it is a different driver
21:37:55AlexPIf that is the route cause, it might be something else
21:38:14AlexPBut I don't remember hearing about it on the classic
21:39:13amayer_i remembered you guys talking about it last week(?) and today i went to connect my ipod and it froze. i was like "OH NO!"
21:39:16amayer_but then i got it to work. i think it was just a glitch
