13:11:31pamaurywell not exactly but close to, maybe i'll have a try tomorrow. You mean the project to show the touchpad as a HID device right ?
13:11:35jlbiasiniI'm asking because of the sensitivity setting
13:12:31jlbiasinino you were planing to make the touchpad reuse some of the touchscreen code which make sense
13:13:26jlbiasinitherefore you said that my patch regarding sensitivity would better not be commited because i would double the future developement
13:14:04pamauryah right. I wrote things but not sure it's right approch. The thing is that it's not so clear how to handle gesture, because that's partly target specific. Ok i'll try to come up with a prototype soon, that way i'll get some feedback, see if people thing it's the right approach
13:14:10jlbiasinibut as it has been a while and that many person are still complainning about the touchpad sensitivity
13:14:36jlbiasiniI thought we could push it at least to have something in the meantime
13:14:42pamaurydid you write a patch for sensitivity ?

14:13:39bertrikhm, in that case you just have to edit it by hand (look for >>>> and <<<< things) and follow the git instructions to mark it as resolved
14:13:53jlbiasinidifference appears in the file with line starting with <<<<<<< + commit name
14:14:34bertrikif any chunks completely failed, you may have to just compare the original changes and completely apply it by hand in a text editor

16:03:59gevaertsjlbiasini: why do you keep abandonning things instead of updating them?
16:05:06jlbiasinibecause I cherry picked them unstead of pulling them ending up with a dupplicate when I finally pushed me change for review
16:07:12jlbiasiniAs i didn't know how to repush the same chage to the right commit I assumed it would as simple to go on with the newly created commit

16:33:35jlbiasini[Saint]: so I pull my patch, it tell me about some conflict to solve, then I make the needed modification, I add them to be tracked for the commit update, and then... ?
16:34:08jlbiasinigit commit −−amend?
16:34:42jlbiasinifatal: You are in the middle of a merge −− cannot amend.

16:37:05[Saint]that doesn't matter.
16:37:58[Saint]when you make the commit, just add the changeid from the original task, and territory should pick it up as a new revision of the existing task.
