00:41:27franklinsaratoga, if LCD_DEPTH<=1, can HAVE_LCD_COLOR possibly be defined?
00:45:25jhMikeSif LCD_DEPTH <= 1? we have 0-bit displays?
00:45:58franklinSo HAVE_LCD_COLOR cannot be defined if LCD_DEPTH<=1?
00:47:58jhMikeSHAVE_LCD_COLOR is some kind of RGB. There's 2-bit GREYscale :)
00:48:10franklinGRAY!!!
00:49:14jhMikeSare you able to log into gerrit (from not being logged in) or is it just me?
00:49:21franklinI'm fine
00:53:15franklinsaratoga: so should I just make it not build on 1-bit displays? It's much too much of a hassle to try

01:10:34franklinsaratoga: I'm just going to make it so that it only builds on targets with HAVE_LCD_BITMAP and LCD_DEPTH>1? will that work?
01:14:55franklinOK, pushed to Gerrit :)\
01:15:28jhMikeSsomething's goofy with gerrit. several computer and accounts and I can't get it to comment. can push to it.
01:15:52franklinHmm same here
01:15:59franklinSays "The page you requested was not found, or you do not have permission to view this page."

01:16:59franklin:)
01:17:00franklinsorry
01:17:43franklinOK I think 2048 should build/not be built on all the targets now :)
01:18:07franklinI suspect many people will complain about there not being a "cheat" feature...
01:18:34franklinjhMikeS, could the gerrit problem be due to my 90KLOC patch? :)
01:19:06jhMikeSI both yahoo and google accounts, same results
01:19:55jhMikeSI'm sure it can handle that

01:22:51franklinsaratoga_, have you logged into Gerrit recently?
01:23:04saratoga_no i can't
01:23:13franklinSo 3 people now
01:23:24saratoga_franklin: i looked at your current patch, and do you really want to make it color only? I thought you said it was working on the grayscale ipods
01:23:35jhMikeSEither the Russians or Chinese are behind this!
01:23:41franklinOh... LCD_DEPTH... not LCD_COLOR
01:24:56franklinok now
01:25:50saratoga_so does it now build cleanly on all targets?
01:25:57franklinYeah, took out the warnings
01:26:22franklinJust needs LCD_BITMAP and LCD_DEPTH>1
01:26:56saratoga_does it build cleanly on Android?
01:27:44franklinDoes it really matter? :)
01:27:46saratoga_or do we not build plugins there?
01:27:51franklinWell, I'll check
01:28:03jhMikeSmaybe a few
01:28:11franklinlol 44 patch sets now
01:28:30franklinI would love to get to 88 so it could be Gerrit #888, patch set 88
01:28:33fs-bluebotGerrit review #888 at http://gerrit.rockbox.org/r/888 : Added 2048 game by Franklin Wei
01:28:42jhMikeSand then you'll see some serious shit?
01:29:03saratoga_i would prefer i not have to apply too many fixes after the main commit
01:29:17franklinYeah... so I'll amass them
01:29:49franklinBut I think it's fine now, really
01:29:54franklinNo more bugs, I think
01:29:59franklin*hop*
01:29:59jhMikeSyou sure?

01:30:02franklinlol
01:30:06jhMikeSmaybe check again
01:30:14franklinyou found one?
01:30:19jhMikeShehe
01:30:36saratoga_i'll take a look at it once i can log into gerrit again
01:30:37franklinbug? never! :)
01:30:43saratoga_if no one beats me to it
01:31:08franklinsaratoga_, any idea what's wrong with Gerrit?
01:31:21saratoga_the server was down earlier today, so probably something has restarted
01:31:25franklinBTW, how'd you choose the name "saratoga"?
01:32:21saratoga_i don't remember
01:32:47franklinOK, 2048 is fine on the GRAYscale iPods :)

01:36:56franklinAre there any DAPs with no LCD?
01:37:32saratoga_the M3 has a remote LCD only i believe

05:51:05[Saint]Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh.
05:51:12[Saint]I hate math *so* much. :-/
05:51:40[Saint](Well, not really...kinda, maybe. Probably.)
05:53:41[Saint]I'm trying to make a plugin that takes a 5~10 band Rockbox EQ preset config file and spits out a variant thereof of for the current 10 band EQ using the least number of bands possible to maintain the same EQ curve.
05:53:58[Saint]But. Math is fricken' hard man.
05:55:35[Saint]I also want to have it plot the actual curve onscreen for targets where it would be feasible to do so.
05:56:27[Saint]So a user can more easily make sense of the q value and how it affects the EQ curve.

16:21:14pamauryI have a probably stupid question for the ARM experts: on ARMv7 with multiple cores, is there a standard way to identify the processor number. Some register which is 0 for the first processor, 1 for the second one and so on...

17:42:44pamauryno, I'm working on the pp6100 but I'm looking at some tegra datasheet to see what could still apply to the PP. I noticed the tegra doesn't have a register to tell which processor it is, whether the PP6100 has. But the tegras dual armv7 core, whereas PP has armv5+ARM 1176JZ-S
