04:44:36kifoHi. I was curious if anyone could offer any insight into a post by saratoga @ http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php/topic,43228.msg219740.html#msg219740 ; From what I could find, it looks like this only gives you access to the RAM, is there some way to use this to fix the player? I have a clip+, with OF getting stuck at flower, RB returning -2, and unable to get it mounted on any computer other than the 32mb unformatted 'bootloader' partition

05:17:49kifoError changed from -2 to what is....-8? Length FFFFFFF8 (chksum error), still no boot from rockbox and OF freezes on starting animation
05:18:13SaratogaKifo: does the bootloader usb mode work?
05:19:03kifoI think so. I can see the 30~mb unformatted partition, I'm not sure what to do with it though
05:19:38SaratogaThat's not the bootloader
05:19:52kifoit goes into that mode but yea, I figured that wasnt right
05:20:27SaratogaWhat happens when you hold center and plug in usb with the player off?
05:22:15kifoblack screen, shows as up sdc, doesn't recognize it/fails on windows computer

05:22:41kifooccasionally it will go into the 'bootloader usb mode' but that only gives me access to the 30~mb thing
05:22:41 Join [7] [0] (~quassel@rockbox/developer/TheSeven)
05:23:15SaratogaThe 30 mb thin usually means the player is dead I think
05:23:45SaratogaIf the bootloader mode won't work that's bad too
05:24:20kifoWill trying that unbricking procedure be of any benefit? I wanted to make sure there wasn't much hope with anything else before I tried
05:24:58SaratogaIf nothing else will work its worth a shot
05:25:29kifoAlright, thanks for your help! :)

17:13:51orbeabtrfs might be interesting if not overkill

17:16:00gevaertsSome of them have more, but even 32MB or 64MB is pushing it with those modern filesystems

23:57:19[Saint]Other than "it'd just be cool to have".
23:57:46[Saint]I honestly don't think the limit for large files is giving anyone any grief.
