00:54:29Bilgus_here is my latest brainfuck code http://pastebin.ca/3830840
00:55:35Bilgus_this one has the option to optimize the code it results in less than a second between input events
00:55:48Bilgus_the old one was like ~20 seconds or more
00:56:15Bilgus_it also has rudimentary file saving and restoring
00:57:00Bilgus_This is probably about as far as I'm going to take this so If you want to develop it further feel free

01:39:45CH23Hi all, I was wondering if anybody could check if their sansa clip plus on 3.1.4 measures the voltage too high?
01:40:13CH23Within rockbox the battery gets measured at 5.1 volt, while with multimeter it's at 3.3volt

02:05:10bilgus_phCH23: voltage in Rockbox from the debug menu?
02:05:50CH23from debug and from benchmark script

02:08:39bilgus_phhmm my battery bench matches the debug menu I'll leave it run awhile
02:10:38CH23i'll give some more info, because i want to make sure it's just me: I bought the clip plus a few days ago, with a dead battery. I ordered a larger new battery (330mAH instead of 290) and replaced it. i kept the original PCB that's attached to the battery.
02:11:42bilgus_phthat shouldn't make the voltage level different
02:11:50CH23I know the battery itself is good, i had it run from full to empty and it took a good 18 hours to do so
02:12:00bilgus_phbut it might throw off the runtime estimation
02:13:29CH23I was looking at https://git.rockbox.org/?p=rockbox.git;a=blob;f=firmware/export/config/sansaclipplus.h as well, but i'm not quite sure what I should or could change (apart from the 290mAh to 330mAh)

02:18:42bilgus_phhonestly I wouldn't bother its pretty close and its not big enough to warrant needing a higher charging current
02:21:25bilgus_phand judging by your runtime I think its closer to 300 mah
02:24:58bilgus_phthose levels are all over the place though
02:26:49bilgus_phwhen I get home I'll charge it full and try another battery bench

19:35:54Bilgus_phMENDELMUNKIS yw it was fun I ran the optimized code on thew actual device last night and it was around 60 seconds between prompts so way too long i'm going to try optimizing a few more things the next few days like storing loop addresses and searching for 0 mem cells but imo if its over about 10 seconds the game is unplayable
19:37:41Bilgus_phMaybe i can store results of loops but since we don't have loads of memory to trade for execution i'm not sure how well that'll work
