12:31:37CH23found an interesting 'bug' that has no impact on anything, i must add.
12:32:15CH23on the sansa clip plus, on any menu screen, press and hold 'forward' button, all text will slide off to the left side
12:34:38johnb2Can you give an example? wfm
12:35:05johnb2and what theme?
12:36:22CH23i'm using 'balanced' theme, but i'm not talking within the wps or fm screens
12:36:52johnb2I was asking because of the font size involved.
12:37:00CH23font size 8
12:37:41johnb2Do you see it on cabbiev2 also (which would be easy to reproduce)?
12:37:42CH23i use 08-sazanami-Mincho.fnt
12:39:04 Join robertd1 [0] (~root@201.210.180.27)
12:39:04CH23yes it also happens on cabbiev2, but as i said, i am talking about the menu screens, not the wps screen
12:39:33Bilgus_Its not actually a bug it's a feature? :p Wow thats a tiny font usually you only see that if there is a menu item wider than the screen
12:40:12Bilgus_is this specific to a certain menu or all?
12:40:17CH23i like the font a lot. can't get more minimal.
12:40:20CH23all menus
12:40:34Bilgus_so even the main menu?
12:40:39CH23yes

12:42:17Bilgus_huh it doesn't seem to do that for me wonder if it has to do with settings

12:48:39CH23that makes sense

12:50:42ulmutulThe horizontal scrolling feature is very handy e.g. in the file browser, you can see the end of your filenames without having to wait for every single entry to scroll.
12:51:29Bilgus_Sounds reasonable
12:51:32Bilgus_as for your battery stuff I have no clue why it would become more calibrated over time we don't save any metrics of the battery so it must be the device
12:52:49ulmutulNote that there is a hidden setting (may not be implemented on all targets): manually insert "hold_lr_for_scroll_in_list: on" in your config file. (Replace "on" with "off" for default behaviour).
12:53:26ulmutulThis should change button mappings for this feature.
12:53:36CH23Bilgus_: i'm as baffled as you. i'm just happy it works now.

21:39:19lyra_hsbut snprintf(str, sizeof(str), CODECDIR"/%s.codec", audio_formats[id3.codectype].codec_root_fn); That line in warble.c

22:17:44__builtinlyra_hs: rockbox has its own snprintf() implementation
22:21:16lyra_hsI mean not snprintf, but all library loading thing. In warble.c it's done with dlopen(), but how it's implemented on MCUs?
22:21:28lyra_hs*codec loading thing
22:22:13__builtinrockbox has its own code loading system for codecs and plugins
22:22:44__builtinsee firmware/load_code.c
22:26:08lyra_hsOkay. And all that *.codec files are stored in firmware in flash memory? Hm, okay. That's interesting solution
22:26:33lyra_hsThanks
