00:15:15fire2199right, the wiki
00:15:59__builtinand you mean rockbox sources?
00:19:32fire2199in fact i'm not sure what's rockbox, isn't it a repo for custom firmware developped by hackers for various multimedia portable players?
00:22:42__builtinyes, essentially
00:23:10__builtinthe page you linked to only has information about the Fiio's firmware format

If implementation (XBurst) happens to initialize it on boot to something sane (KSEG0) and then you try again to initialize it with KSEG0 addresses but 'from the other end' you create TLB alias and hence TLB shutdown will be triggered
09:25:57wodzpamaury: (log) The proof would be to readback TLB state before initializing.

17:49:45pamaurylukeoftheaura: no
17:52:28lukeoftheauraoh, shame
17:52:41lukeoftheauraI have songs with character in the filenames fat32 doesn't support, it seems
17:52:57lukeoftheauraso I guess I'll have to rename them
17:54:31lukeoftheaurais there an easy way to do that?
17:56:02pamaurylukeoftheaura: why don't you use tags? most file formats support arbitrary tags and those are more useful than filenames anyway
17:57:06lukeoftheauraI use tags
17:57:13lukeoftheaurabut my music is still properly named
17:57:16lukeoftheauraI like having both
17:57:30pamauryThere exists plenty of software to edit tags and rename music files, I've use EasyTag in the past but there are others I'm sure
17:57:30lukeoftheaurathe music won't copy because of these name issues with fat32
17:57:58*pamaury has to go
17:57:58lukeoftheauraif there's just some program that will just rename stuff to work on fat32 automagically
17:58:31pamauryiirc, EasyTag allows to rename file and has a feature to avoid weird symbols I think, that's a common problem
18:00
18:01:12lukeoftheauraI'll check that out
18:01:28lukeoftheauraI mainly use picard for my music tagging although I don't think that does filename stuff
