14:26:38cc___Hi, is it possible that rockbox has some trouble playing really long albums and may crash after a while ?
14:28:09SammysHPcc___: what do you mean with "really long albums"?
14:28:26SammysHPalbum name? playlist length? song length?
14:28:59Horrorcat(long file with cuesheet?)
14:31:31 Join puckipedia [0] (~puck@catgirl.tech)
14:31:45cc___no, no playlist file
14:31:55cc___a directory with like 100+ .ogg files
14:33:16cc___and after playing a few dozen of those files, or just pressing "next" repeatedly to file a particular track, rockbox crashes
14:34:27ZincAlloyI once had a problem with a certain song always crashing when playing an album using a dynamic playlist starting from track one. It played fine when I started from that track. But then again it seems that my SD card had started to fail :D

20:17:04CH23the apple FM remote (A1187, MA070G/* ) that used to work on the ipod video 5.5g on rockbox version 3.13, does not work in 3.14 and up
20:18:18CH23i have tested this by replacing the .rockbox folder in its entirety on my device, with version 3.13 downloaded from the rockbox server, restarting, and connecting the remote
20:18:21CH23this works
20:18:31CH23doing the same with 3.14 does not work
20:18:46CH23doing the same with daily build does also not work
20:19:28CH23it does not show up in the FM radio under debugging menu for 3.14, or newer, it does for 3.13

20:33:21MassaHi everybody!
20:35:03MassaI've bought a new device as music player, a Shanling M2s - really nice device
20:36:10MassaBut as usual: the GUI handling is very limited - at least compared to Rockbox.... ;-)
20:37:09CH23Hi Massa, #rockbox is the 'developement' channel for rockbox, if you want to have a nice chat, please check out #rockbox-community
20:37:49MassaHi CH23 - of course it is - that's why I'm here :-)
20:38:47MassaThe firmware of that M2s device can totally be unpacked and repacked with some tools and it seems it's linux based - and it seems some more devices nowadays are similar (HiBy, Hisbisz, Benji)
20:40:14MassaThat brought me to the idea of a RockBox which is written as an console Linux application which could directly use the given infrastructure of the underlying firmware and maybe write it's output directly to the linux framebuffer
20:40:58MassaDo you think that's a good idea? And feasable?
