02:08:58xzaI have a question , as it is related to rockbox , I own a fiio M3K , and I have installed Xvorterx's rockbox which was version 1.3.0 , then I saw that there is an update to 1.4.3 , and when I updated it , the device started bootlooping , I managed to fix it , but rockbox doesn't run , it just restarts the device , and fiio's official firmware doesn't update the media library. I think the "Datafs" partition is simply either corrupted or damaged , is there an

05:39:01Bilgusmendel_munkis, I traced the last problem of the sim not shutting down to a problem writing the settings file, does your sim shutdown when it is a clean install?

05:51:09mendel_munkisBilgus: it seems to vary but the longer I leave it and the more i use gdb breakpoints the less likely it is to shutdown properly.
05:53:39BilgusI could see the breakpoints screwing it up if you send a bunch of button presses the sim tends to overflow the button buffer and kill it, that generally how I kill the sim when it hangs
05:53:55Bilgusthat is ^*

19:11:25Strife89I wonder, are there any budget-friendly DAPs being sold as new with a Rockbox port? Seems like the few currently out there are marketed as high-end audio players and priced accordingly.

22:02:02toktekerhello. I have a clip-zip, it has failing battery and I think the on-board memory is also starting to die... some time ago somebody here on IRC helped me to install some version of rockbox that loads everything from the SD card. I have two questions - 1. how would I update rockbox with this setup, to the latest version? 2. what should I do about the battery? is there a good place to buy some compatible battery (in terms of size) that wouldn't harm the
22:02:02toktekerplayer? 3. I heard that at some point somebody tried to replace the memory chip on the board of the clip zip (or was it clip+?), did anybody really succeed at doing this?
22:05:04tokteker(even if I would at some point accidentally log out , I would read the logs so please do answer even if it would be when I am offline)
