06:09:57neotenyblbro[m], yes, i've tried double clicking, long, and short presses. none let you move to the next track. while i listen to books this way, i've since learned that lots of people listen to music this way. they will listen to playlist on repeat 1 and when they get tired of hearing a song, they press a button to skip to the next track.

14:01:55desowinI managed to get Sansa Connect USB driver to pass enumeration \o/
14:02:37desowinthere is a hack involved that the driver deliberately does not wait for IN ZLP (status stage)
14:03:20desowinthis pretty much matches how the Linux kernel driver works, as it just arms the ZLP, e.g. in SET ADDRESS
14:03:55desowinthe remaining is to get the other endpoints than 0 working
14:05:20desowinI wonder if this ZLP thing is just specific to TNETV105PAP or there's just some issue in Linux driver that I pretty much have no choice but to replicate
14:06:13desowinI wish the datasheet was available... but it seems it is some prototype component XTNETV105PAP description on digikey is VLYNQ2USB PG 2.0 PROTOTYPE

16:41:03mendelmunkisgood because I can''t find it
16:42:43amachronicyeah just wait a sec I am posting my comments
16:46:37amachronicposted
16:46:56amachronicissue was simple https://gerrit.rockbox.org/r/c/rockbox/+/3415/5/apps/plugins/calculator.c#1116
16:47:19amachronicjust a missing comparison, after I corrected it, I got correct results.
16:53:36mendelmunkisthanks. also you seem to have a talent for finding the obvious cases I miss :)
16:53:42mendelmunkisyeah stupid typo.
16:54:58amachronicwell, it always helps to have a second pair of eyes... can't say I'm any better than you when it comes to my own code.
16:56:26mendelmunkisthe changes at 1772 and 1834 (with your correction) were necessary because without them using operator again instead of = to run the calculation would return an unexpected value (usually the first operand), when it should have errored
16:56:50amachronicoh, I see.

16:57:50mendelmunkisA. it seems not to be here, B I relied on it not being the case here :)
16:59:22mendelmunkiscan anyone tell me the failure mode of using snprintf("%f",double) on a platform without float?
17:00
17:00:13amachronicall our platforms can do floats −− calculator plugin proves that −− but it will be GCC's soft float on most native targets.
17:00:59amachronicrockbox hsa an internal printf but the float support is conditional and if it isn't present, I guess you just get '%f' out or garble.
17:01:53amachronicmy only concern is bloating the core with soft float libs may cause some low memory targets to implode.
17:03:00mendelmunkisin which case the function should set an error, meaning that I need to add that negative bases arent supported to the relevent manuals.
17:03:20mendelmunkisin my opinion that should fail pretty safe
17:03:58amachronicor you just look up GCC's soft float lib and see how doubles are represented. if it's IEEE 754 the check for integer values is easy.
17:04:57mendelmunkisthe calc uses an internal scientific notation, numbers are almost never integral
17:05:54amachronicaw crap, I forgot. definitely easier to cop out and say it doesn't work.
17:07:34mendelmunkis(I find it amusing given that fp is a scientific notation format)
