16:25:16MarcAndersenOh, that's it. I will upload the working ones soon so you can test before I put it into my main build script.
16:27:06chris_sok great :)
16:32:32MarcAndersenOn my intel mac I get a lot of ld: unknown option: -no_warn_duplicate_libraries
16:34:18chris_sinteresting... wasn't aware that option is not available there ... on sequoia, too?
16:34:38MarcAndersenNo, catalina... That's all I have.

16:36:19chris_sprobably
16:36:40MarcAndersenSo I think we have 3 options: Try to get it working, try to cross compile or drop intel.
16:37:09chris_soh, it fails because of it?

17:18:52chris_swhat's kind of annoying, since the files are not part of an app bundle, is that you apparently  have to give separate permission for literally every single plugin and codec to be opened due to Apple's malware protection, unless you manually remove the attribute from all of the files

17:24:14chris_swe may want to instruct users to execute "xattr -d com.apple.quarantine -r <rockboxfolder>" which removes the quarantine attribute recursively from the folder and its contents

17:50:12_bilgusyeah I had been putting off adding volume and power buttons to the clipzip and clip+ sims made it super easy to get them lined up
17:52:03_bilgusI really wanted button highlighting but I got to the part of partitioning a second device bitmap with the highlighted regions but once I saw how many there were I noped out

I'm mostly stumbling upon non-mac-specific issues with the simulators ... for example, target 92 (Zen Vision M) seems to incorrectly get the UI from the Zen Vision:M 30)... some of these probably haven't been used in a long time or nobody cared enough

22:52:05_bilguseither that or maybe we can use dirscan to make a list of problematic filenames and feed them through a script on the device
