It seems like the Dev/Nightly builds both have "solved" iFLash adapters for classic 6g, 6.5g, & 7g; But not the dual/quad adapters because of raid0 things? So these users use Apple firmware to transfer files to their iFlash raid0 (and rb simulator for database creation?). So if this is all true, the only reason my iFlash quad (with 02.04.45 # good microsd cards) 6.5 classic won't work for a library greater than 128gb is because of the lba28 addressing, where a 7g board with lba48 addressing and transferring files using Apple firmware would allow me to use rockbox with a larger library? To clarify, i have a 6.5 classic logic board and an iFlash quad adapter but want to transfer a library of about 500gb (and ideally use a database); would switching to a 7g logic board (removing 128gb apple firmware 02.04.46 # limit) be enough to solve my issue? Apologies if this sounds like a mess.. 02.04.50 # Build Server message: 3Build round completed after 1129 seconds. 02.04.51 # Build Server message: 3Revision ff98a54cd9 result: All green 02.29.43 *** Saving seen data "./dancer.seen" 02.44.04 Join mink [0] (~vison@2a07:3e00:81:0:6191:4c4a:d7e3:a34) 03.31.15 Quit advcomp2019 (Read error: Connection reset by peer) 04.05.14 Quit JanC (Read error: Connection reset by peer) 04.05.19 Join JanC_ [0] (~janc@user/janc) 04.05.28 Nick JanC_ is now known as JanC (~janc@user/janc) 04.29.47 *** Saving seen data "./dancer.seen" 05.04.27 Quit paulk (Quit: WeeChat 3.0) 05.05.37 Join paulk [0] (~paulk@vpn-0-22.aquilenet.fr) 05.13.38 Quit mink (Remote host closed the connection) 05.29.13 Quit Maxdamantus (Ping timeout: 268 seconds) 05.29.42 Join Maxdamantus [0] (~Maxdamant@user/maxdamantus) 05.58.19 Quit paulk (Ping timeout: 248 seconds) 05.59.20 Join paulk [0] (~paulk@2a0c:e300:4:22::) 06.29.50 *** Saving seen data "./dancer.seen" 06.56.48 Quit kugel_ (Ping timeout: 248 seconds) 07.05.31 Quit paulk (Ping timeout: 252 seconds) 07.06.32 Join paulk [0] (~paulk@12.234.24.109.rev.sfr.net) 08.22.43 # It is my understanding that the dual/quad SD adapters behave identically as the single ones. 08.23.46 # the 128GB addressing thing is independent of the adapter used.
