Yes, you're right. The files will be copyrighted by the ones who write them, if they're not handed over to someone else (ala FSF). I don't think that is necesary (handing over that is) if the files are all licensed under GPL anyway. > Also, I think we should explicitly mention the license is GPL and not only > refer to the COPYING file. Right, that might by wise. If I'm not mistaking, there is some suggsted wording for GPL source headers somewhere. Feel free to post your updated version! ;-) > There are two small spelling mistakes: "the files COPYING" should be 'file' > and "either express or" should be 'expressed'. I agree about the first, but the second is actually the wording used by most licenses and thus I believe it is correct. BTW, I want to add my intial X11-stuff to the Rockbox CVS as soon as I've added some nicer source headers. Should I just create a directory named 'rockboxui' and import it there, or do you have any other plans/directions for me? It now pops up a tiny window, and draws a line and a tiny text in it. -- Daniel Stenberg -- Hacking Archos => http://bjorn.haxx.se/rockbox/Received on 2002-03-25 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
